Check out the astrological forecasts for the month of November 2021 here and understand how one of the most tense months of the year will be a reflection of what we should expect for 2022. It’s time to take the pumpkin out of the door (for those who celebrate Samhain or Halloween) and start thinking about Christmas decorations.

The more we understand the movement of planets in the sky, especially the slow planets that determine the challenges of generations, the easier it is to make decisions and plan the way forward.

The great astrological events of November are:

  • New Moon in Scorpio
  • Mars square Saturn
  • Mars in opposition to Uranus
  • Moon Eclipse in Taurus

But before going into these remarkable events, I will share the scenario of the major cycles (Sun and Moon):

Scorpio Solar Cycle

Eighth sign of the zodiac, with its cycle from October 23rd to November 21st, Scorpio occupies the middle of autumn (Northern Hemisphere) when the wind rips the leaves off the yellowish trees allowing the beginning of the decomposition process in the soil and preparing the bare trunks for the spring rebirth.

Symbol of resistance, fermentation and death, it is a sign of deep, silent water that is darkened by maceration and stagnation.

The animal that lives hidden, fleeing from the light, makes reference to the values we keep in the shadows, proper to be evoked in moments of drama, when life borders on the absurd, when there is denial or death.

The sign of Scorpio is positioned in a dialectic of deconstruction and creation, of death and rebirth, of the call of God and the temptation of the devil. Its symbolism therefore speaks of transformation, transcendence, mysteries, forgiveness and liberation.

In the tarot, it refers to cards number 13 and 15, respectively death and the devil. Since ancient times, the number 13 has been considered an omen of ill omen. In Kabbalah, it represents the 13 evil spirits and the 13th chapter of the apocalypse is that of the Anchrist and the Beast.

In Allendy’s symbology, 13 represents a principle of activity of the 3 contained in the unit of 10, bringing in consequence, a limit, an end, the fatal evolution to death. Generally speaking, in many cultures the number 13 corresponds to a new beginning.

To experience this cycle, it is worth asking yourself:
  • What do I need to let go of to flow?
  • What do I need to forgive myself for?
  • Which cycle has come to an end and do I need to close it?
  • What is this energy inviting me to transform, overcome or forgive?

Scorpio Lunar Cycle

Lunar cycles always begin with the New Moon and are completed at the Wailing Moon. This penultimate cycle of the year is even marked by an eclipse. Understanding the energies of the Moon helps us deal with our emotions and our feminine.

November 4 – New Moon in Scorpio

The New Moon marks the beginning of a new Lunar cycle inviting us to start something new, plant seeds and imagine what we want to manifest in the next 4 weeks. Remember that Scorpio brings the energy of renewal and this can be a good time to focus on something new. This Moon brings an invitation to transformation.

November 11 – Crescent Moon in Aquarius

The Crescent Moon brings us a strong proactive, nurturing and supportive energy. In nature, this is when the sap flow starts to rise and concentrates in the stem and branches. This phase provides for the growth of plants and, naturally, brings clarity to who we are, providing a moment of dynamism, movement and work.

When the Crescent Moon enters Aquarius, it assimilates the energies of this sign. Aquarius is the great mastermind of the zodiac. Its keywords are sociability, vision of the future, humanitarian ideals and collectivity. With his ability to look to the future, he becomes a “pattern breaker of the past” and everything that doesn’t work anymore! He is able to accept himself, and to love himself, and from that empowered place, serve and help people in connection with his vision, values and ideals of the world.

The sign also represents disruptiveness, irreverence, stubbornness and abstract ideas with a touch of rebellion. One of your biggest challenges may be thinking a lot about the other, doing everything for everyone, but never for yourself.

November 18-19 – Full Moon – Partial Lunar Eclipse in Taurus

Eclipses are mathematical alignments between the sun, moon and Earth. When the Earth is in the middle, between sun and moon, a lunar eclipse occurs, in the phase of the Full Moon.

The Full Moon calls us to expose ourselves when the mother (life/moon) lights up the father (world/sun). This Moon brings clarity of our emotions, excitement, mood and passion. When she passes through the sign of Taurus, she brings materiality, concreteness, beauty and the pleasure of being present on Earth enjoying so many delights. The Full Moon brings maturity, the act of fertilizing, of being a mother and owner of your feminine.

Eclipses have always been considered sacred moments for the original peoples (or first peoples) and that brought fears and negative beliefs, but their meanings vary according to each nation. Many consider the Moon as the grandmother and the sun as the father, a concept similar to that adopted in astrology.⠀In some nations, there are reports of fear of death at the time of the Moon’s eclipse.

But how do we interpret the occurrence of eclipses in astrology within astrological predictions?

Eclipses often bring unexpected changes, changes in plans and unpredictable events. Eclipses often bring us tension, anxiety, insecurity and uncertainty. These are moments of introspection, where the best thing to do is stay at home and not make big decisions. ⠀

This Eclipse could bring a kind of transition to 2022 as anything that is under a lot of pressure can risk breaking down. Remember that every Eclipse “decides something”. On a personal level, Eclipses bring an invitation to decide what needs to be kept and what needs to be left behind. It will be seen in parts of Europe, Asia, Australia, North and West Africa, North America, South America (the first Brazil will see), Pacific Ocean, Atlantic and Indian and Arctic.
