Taurus Solar Cycle

Represented by a circle with horns, the four-legged animal speaks of sustainability and has its feet grounded on the ground. In mythology it relates to the story of the Minotaur. In the Southern Hemisphere it represents the continuity of autumn, sustaining the season.

It is a sign of the Earth element, with a Fixed characteristic and represents the 2nd house on the zodiacal wheel. Its planet is Venus, but some astrologers even consider the Earth itself as their ruler.

The Taurus phrase is “I own“. It is materializing and materialistic, seeking concreteness, beauty, reason, and connection with the earth, and with forms. It has an obstinacy for matter and stability, becoming stubborn, possessive, attached, and jealous. Just like the animal that represents him, he comes to perform with vigor here on Earth, but he is also slow and heavy about changes, especially when it comes to starting projects.

It has a connection with nature, with matter (the real), with its body, with the wonderful pleasure of being alive, of breathing, of feeling the flavors, also realizing the importance of the mysteries of life, the wisdom of the ends of cycles and of the invisible. It connects with the abundance of the planet, with the flow of give and take, with your unique gifts and with your true worth and worthiness. It is a sign that also talks a lot about money and the desire to reconnect with our finances. ⠀

In the low vibrations, you may have difficulty materializing and feeling stable, feeling worthy for your gifts and talents, loving and being loved. It can be nocturnal, dreamy, melancholy, becoming ungrounded, with no connection to the base chakra and the Earth. Just like the bull, it can also be “ruminating” questions, being slow to digest things.

When the Sun enters Taurus, he invites us to seek concreteness, knowing that it is different and individual for each of us. When he asks us “what do I own?”, we have our own answer and none is more correct than the other.

Taurus talks about beauty, reason, our gifts, talents and how we need to put them at the service of the world in order to feel that we belong. It is these same gifts and talents that guarantee us material and earthly stability. ⠀⠀

He teaches us about deserving, about accepting praise, about looking stubbornly at our finances and understanding that as difficult as it may seem to identify our virtues, we all have them. ⠀⠀

Out of its axis, it can be stubborn, possessive, attached and jealous. And even if our sun is not in Taurus, we all have that energy on the chart. What is the subject or house inhabited by Taurus energy that can make me vibrate in these characteristics? ⠀⠀

Looking at house 2 with affection makes us realize that our map already has many of the answers we are looking for so much. It reminds us of the wonderful pleasure of being alive, breathing and feeling the flavors. Only when we connect with the abundance of the planet, with the flow of give and take, with our unique gifts and with our true worth and worth that we feel alive.

But Taurus also shows that we can get slow and heavy when it comes to change. Yes, you can ruminate, but you also need to digest.

Taurus wants to know: what did I come to accomplish with vigor here on Earth?

Taurus Lunar Cycle

April 30 – New Moon – Solar Eclipse in Taurus

Welcome, New Moon. I don’t see you in the darkness of the night, but I know you are there, together with the Sun, bringing the beginning of a new lunar cycle to my life. Bring with you the seeds of renewal, birth, new projects, good intentions. Also bring the energy of Taurus so that I can see clearly what I want to achieve and materialize in this new 28-day cycle. Let me see that I have gifts and talents and that they are needed by the world. Show me that what I can offer is the external materialization of serving in the construction of something greater than myself. And that I receive in return fair value for the consideration of a life that was given to someone else through my talents. I bring with me the wisdom of the previous cycle and commit to planting what I want to see grow. I promise that I will look at myself with love, understanding that I am a daughter of Gaia and that I came into this world with my feet on the ground. I will do my best not to ruminate and be able to digest the questions that this new cycle will bring me. But above all, I promise to recognize the pleasure of being alive, breathing, feeling the flavors and colors of the Earth, but also the strength of what I cannot see, but I am able to feel. Welcome New Moon. Welcome abundance.

May 8 – Crescent Moon in Leo

Welcome Crescent Moon. If I didn’t see you before, now I’m sure you’re there. I will accompany you as you grow and use your energy to nourish me, be clear about what I want and give dynamism and movement to my next days. As you put more light in the sky, I put more light in the Earth. And so we head towards the apex of the Full Moon.

My emotions and my feeling connect with the energy of Leo. May I be open to acting with my heart so that courage is part of my path. May the truth of my being be my guide in search of my call to the world. May I simply be who I want to be, learning every day to deal with my arrogance, my labels, my ego. May I have the ability to manifest through my essence. May enthusiasm and passion grow together with you in my life. Welcome to the Crescent Moon in Leo and may you come with the joy, optimism and radiance that is not only in the sky but also within each of us. ⠀

When the Moon passes through the sign of Leo, it makes our feelings, emotions and memory gain a touch of brightness, passion, individuality and presence. Leo is an energy that puts us in question what we want deeply and when the Moon touches this sign, we feel these desires even more deeply.

May 16 – Full Moon with an eclipse in Scorpio.

The Full Moon brings clearer nights and Scorpio comes with a deep dive into the soul, experiencing the concreteness of our choices and actions. It is the purification of what has passed, illuminated by everything we keep inside us. That fantasy that “everything’s okay” doesn’t stick anymore and it’s time to face reality. Let the Moon illuminate the transformations you are going through and accept the end of cycles. It is only when we look at the muddy waters of our soul that we access the transformation that presents us.

May 22 – Waning Moon in Pisces.

This Waning Moon in Pisces marks the last stage of the Taurus lunar cycle, which began there at the New Moon. That’s why the next few days invite us to debug, clean and analyze the path we’ve taken so far. Pay attention to your dreams, to your body, to the memories that suddenly arise and see how to organize a thousand voices that are pulsing inside you. All that energy in a water sign brings depth, but it also calls for acceptance, nourishment and, above all, special attention to the feeling. The Waning Moon in Pisces asks us, “Did I take my dreams into account when making my choices?” The more you let go of what no longer needs to be, the more space you will have for the new ahead. The energies of Pisces make you feel deeper, but all this is necessary for us to debug and prepare for what lies ahead. In the waning moon cycle, take the opportunity to reflect: what is still missing to have more lightness in what I intend to start in the new cycle that will come soon?
